Putting can be described as a game within a game. Many golfers, not only beginners, often overlook the fact that 50% of every golf score is dependent on how many putts they take during their round. A six-inch putt has the same value as a 300-yard drive. If you take this on board it can make an enormous difference to your overall score. It is an established fact that golfers worldwide go to golf and driving ranges and frequently pull a driver or wood club from their bag and immediately start to try and power golf balls out of sight. Professional Golfers in contrast, tend to spend far more time on their putting technique and short game.
Why don’t you count how many putts you have taken on your next round? Lets assume you have taken 42, which is an average putting score with many handicap golfers. Within the pages of my book “Body Power Swing”, I show you a new putting technique for making it possible to average 30 to 32 putts every round you play. This will convince you how important putting strokes are in your golf game. Your overall golf score can be reduced by as much as 10 strokes with a successful putting strategy!
